Abigail Janney
Abigail Janney is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in Delaware and Pennsylvania. She earned her Doctorate in Clinical from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and holds a Master's Degree in Clinical Health Psychology. She completed her psychology internship at Terry Children's Center and her postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Delaware. Throughout her career, she has developed expertise in evidence-based treatments, including Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Attachment and Bio-Behavioral Catch-up (ABC), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). She has extensive clinical experience with adult and child/adolescent populations, including inpatient, crisis, residential, juvenile justice, intensive outpatient, and day treatment settings. She has various teaching experiences related to psychology at local universities. Her current positions besides work in private practice includes serving as the PCIT clinical trainer for the State of Delaware and the Lead Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant for Delaware. She enjoys spending time outdoors, especially with her husband, children, and dogs.
