Abigail Janney is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in Delaware and Pennsylvania. She earned her Doctorate in Clinical from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and holds a Master's Degree in Clinical Health Psychology. She completed her psychology internship at Terry Children's Center and her postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Delaware.
Experience & Professional Background
Throughout my career, I have developed expertise in evidence-based treatments, including Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Attachment and Bio-Behavioral Catch-up (ABC), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I have extensive clinical experience working with both adults and children/adolescents in various settings, including inpatient, crisis, residential, juvenile justice, intensive outpatient, and day treatment programs. I also have experience teaching psychology at local universities.
In addition to my work in private practice, I serve as the PCIT clinical trainer for the State of Delaware and the Lead Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant for Delaware.
Outside of work, I truly enjoy spending time outdoors, especially with my husband, children, and dogs.
