Kara Dougherty received her bachelor’s in Health Behavior Science from the University of Delaware and earned her Master’s degree from Temple University. Kara has worked with individuals, couples, and children within private practice and outpatient settings.
Experience & Professional Background
I recently moved back to Delaware from Philadelphia, where I provided services to individuals dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, behavioral struggles, and personality disorders.
I take a client-centered, strengths-based approach to therapy and integrate additional evidence-based practices as needed to best support each individual’s unique needs and goals. My goal is to create a supportive and accepting environment where you can feel comfortable being your authentic self.
I love Philadelphia sports teams, traveling, and spending time with my family and my mini dachshund.
