Kate Wisor is a Licensed Professional Counselor of Mental Health. She received her Bachelor’s in German Studies and Psychology from Connecticut College. Kate started her career working for a German Corporate Bank in Manhattan but soon realized that her passion was helping others.
Experience & Professional Background
I returned to school and earned my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Immaculata University. I have experience working with all age groups and their families, though most of my time has been spent counseling young children, teenagers, and young adults.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) as frameworks in my sessions.
I love the beach, being in nature, and spending time with my family and my two bulldogs.
