Kathleen King is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Delaware. She earned her Master of Social Work from Boston College and her Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from the University of Delaware. Katie's clinical training began in the juvenile justice system in Boston, Massachusetts.
Experience & Professional Background
My clinical training began in the juvenile justice system in Boston, Massachusetts. After moving to Delaware in 2007, I worked in various school-based settings, eventually focusing on young children and families at the Terry Children's Center.
Since 2012, I’ve been providing Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation to local early care teachers. I also worked in private practice at Broudy and Associates until 2019. I have a strong interest in evidence-based practices, including Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and EMDR, with a particular focus on children.
My husband and I are raising three young children and a willful golden retriever puppy in Delaware.
