Maureen Hill is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Delaware. She earned her master's degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Colorado at Denver. She earned her bachelor's degree in Communication and Sociology from the University of Pittsburgh. Maureen has worked in school settings and provided individual, family, and group therapy.
Experience & Professional Background
I use a client-centered approach, recognizing that the most important element in a counseling dynamic is the relationship between the client and the counselor. I am trained in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). I believe personal growth happens best when clients feel safe and validated.
In my free time, I enjoy taking yoga classes, swimming laps, and spending time outdoors with my family. I am also an active volunteer in my Church’s special needs ministry.
