Experience & Professional Background
I taught in the MSW Program at West Chester University as an adjunct faculty member for seven years, served as a custody mediator for the Chester County Court system, worked as a family therapist at an adolescent dual-diagnosis day treatment program, and presented on various topics at NASW-PA conferences.
I believe in partnering with individuals and families to develop an individualized plan to create desired life changes through multiple approaches. I am trained in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Attachment-Based Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Mindfulness-Based treatments. I’ve also completed 200 hours of yoga teacher training and incorporate mindfulness-based interventions when working with clients.
In my downtime, I love spending time with my family camping, hiking, and backpacking. I also enjoy being outside with my dogs and chickens.
